JIP – JavaMuseum Interview Project
was launched in 2004 by Wilfried Agricola de Cologne in order to give the users of JavaMuseum – The Netart Collection – the background information about the netart creation by asking 10 questions to the netartists.
After engaging 10 years in “netart” – Internet based art – JavaMuseum decided in 2010, to discontinue this engagement and continue as a museum archives only. Netart was an important interactive art expression at that time, but the Internet as a platform and/or the related software technolgies were never seriously explored for their real artistic potential.
